Richard Amalvy

Richard Amalvy is the Chief Executive of the Brazzaville Foundation, a civil society organisation promoting and supporting African initiatives in peace, the environment, and health, including concrete actions to fight falsified and substandard medicines. Amalvy has been a leader of several international NGOs and has co-developed programmes for peace in the Great Lakes region of Africa, the Middle East and the former Yugoslavia. He was a consultant in Youth Policy for the World Bank and in Public and General Affairs for the OECD, and was a director of the North-South Center of the Council of Europe and vice-president of the Conference of NGOs at the United Nations. He teaches management of organisations at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales et Politiques (HEIP) in Paris.
