Recipient of the Governor General of Canada’s Police Exemplary Service Medal with over 25 years of law enforcement experience where he oversaw organized crime, contraband tobacco, and drug enforcement operations.

Now the Senior Manager of the illicit trade prevention department for the Canadian affiliate of Philip Morris International, he oversees investigations, prevention initiatives as well as training activities designed for law enforcement. He helped implement the first online monitoring program to prevent the growth of online illicit sales, achieving remarkable results.

Expert-witness in criminal court since 2010 specializing in transborder criminality, he is the only civilian in Canada to be recognized in criminal court as expert-witness on the combined subjects of contraband tobacco and how criminal organizations operate.

Last year alone he provided over 20 expert-witness reports and opinions to support law enforcement agencies and prosecution services across Canada.
