Lawrence has been working in the aftermarket since graduating from university in 1982. He worked for over 20 years at Quinton Hazell Automotive Ltd., which some would consider the founding company of the aftermarket, during this time he worked in a number of roles from Marketing, Purchasing, Operations to eventually becoming General Manager. Today he works for TMD Friction UK Ltd., a world renowned manufacturer of friction materials, supplying OE. OES and the aftermarket, owning brands such as Textar, Mintex, Pagid and Don amongst others, providing friction solutions for passenger car, heavy commercial vehicles, off highway, and industrial applications.
