Shelley McKinley is the Chief Legal Officer at Dream Games, the powerhouse studio behind mobile hits Royal Match and Royal Kingdom.

Prior to joining Dream in 2026, Shelley served as CLO at GitHub, where she led legal affairs, trust & safety, social impact and developer policy.

Shelley’s legal career is deeply rooted in tech and gaming culture. At Microsoft, she held numerous senior executive roles, serving as VP of Technology and Corporate Responsibility where she spearheaded sustainability and responsible tech initiatives, leading legal and government affairs across Europe, and advising the Xbox games business. Her foundation in gaming extends to tabletop fantasy franchises, having been legal counsel for the iconic brands Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering, at Wizards of the Coast.
