Mathieu Gigleux joined OLAF two years ago as an investigator. He is already leader and partner in several files in all areas of expertise of the B2 unit. His background is to have been a French customs officer for more than 24 years. He has worked in numerous anti-fraud services. After spending almost ten years at the head of two field control units, composed of over 50 agents and specialists, he joined the national investigation and intelligence service to lead investigators. Beyond major results in the fight against trafficking in drugs, weapons, tobacco products, money laundering, illicit goods, counterfeits, etc. he has notably developed new strategies in e-commerce, with international success.

He has also served as an international trainer and expert for the European Union, the United Nations, the World Customs Organization and the United States Government, most often on the African continent.
